Rockchip Camera
Sensor bring-up, the Rockchip ISP, IQ files and getting frames into your app.
Camera pipelines on Rockchip go sensor → MIPI CSI-2 → CIF/ISP → memory. The vendor ISP (rkisp) needs a sensor driver, a device-tree graph, and an IQ tuning file (JSON/XML) loaded by the rkaiq 3A server for good image quality. Without IQ files you get raw-looking, green or dark images.
Key points
- Confirm the sensor responds on I2C (i2cdetect) before debugging the MIPI link.
- Check the pipeline with media-ctl -p and capture test frames with v4l2-ctl --stream-mmap.
- Use RGA for colour conversion and scaling instead of the CPU.
