Rockchip RKDevTool
Rockchip's Windows flashing GUI (RKDevTool / AndroidTool) and the DriverAssistant.
RKDevTool (formerly AndroidTool) is Rockchip's Windows GUI for flashing update.img firmware or individual partitions. It needs the Rockchip USB driver installed with DriverAssistant. The command-line equivalent on Linux is upgrade_tool (closed source) or rkdeveloptool (open source).
Key points
- Install drivers with DriverAssistant before connecting the board.
- The status bar shows "Found One MASKROM Device" or "Found One LOADER Device".
- For update.img use the Upgrade Firmware tab; for raw partitions use the Download Image tab.
