Rockchip USB
USB 2.0/3.x controllers, OTG/host roles, Type-C and VBUS power on Rockchip.
Rockchip SoCs use DWC3 controllers for USB 3 (often with a USB/DP combo PHY on Type-C ports) and EHCI/OHCI for USB 2 host. Typical bring-up issues are dr_mode, VBUS regulator enables, PHY nodes left disabled, and Type-C controller (e.g. FUSB302) configuration.
Key points
- Set dr_mode = "host", "peripheral" or "otg" to match the port's real role.
- Enable the matching u2phy / usbdp_phy / combphy node, not only the controller.
- A USB 3 port that only works at USB 2 speed usually means the SuperSpeed PHY or lane routing is wrong.
